The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to JAMIE HANDCRAFT, operating under the brand YAN’S SELECTION.


1. Policy Overview

We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our Sterling Silver 925 jewellery and Pure Silver 990 / 999 products. To ensure fairness to both customers and the seller, all returns, refunds, and exchanges are subject strictly to the terms outlined below.

By making a purchase on this website, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.


2. Compliance with Malaysian Law

This policy is prepared in accordance with:

  • Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia)

  • Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transactions) Regulations 2012

Nothing in this policy excludes statutory consumer rights where applicable. However, conditions are clearly defined to prevent misuse and unreasonable claims.


3. Return & Refund Request Period

All return or refund requests must be submitted within:

30 calendar days from the date of delivery, based on courier tracking records.

Requests made after this period will not be accepted.


4. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, refund, or exchange, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Item must be unused, unworn, and unaltered

  • Item must be free from scratches, dents, or damage caused after delivery

  • Original packaging must be included (box, pouch, certificate, tags, security seal)

  • Proof of purchase must be provided

  • Security tags and seals must remain intact

Failure to meet any of these conditions may result in rejection or a partial refund at our discretion.


5. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

Jewellery

  • Pierced earrings (for hygiene reasons)

  • Customized, engraved, or made-to-order items

  • Items resized, repaired, or altered by third parties

  • Items showing signs of wear, use, or mishandling

Silver 990 / 999 Products

  • Silver bars, ingots, coins, bullion, or investment-grade silver once opened or handled

  • Products affected by silver price or market fluctuations

Pure silver products are classified as precious metal investment goods. Changes in market value do not constitute grounds for return or refund.


6. Change-of-Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns may be considered at the seller’s discretion only, subject to:

  • Compliance with all eligibility requirements

  • Customer bearing all return shipping costs

  • A restocking fee of up to 20%

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


7. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, together with:

  • Clear photos or videos

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

Upon verification, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit. The final resolution method is determined by the seller.


8. Return Approval Process

  1. Customer submits a Return Request Form

  2. Request is reviewed within 2–3 business days

  3. If approved, a Return Authorization is issued

  4. Item must be returned within 7 days of approval

Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.


9. Return Shipping Responsibility

  • Change-of-mind returns: Customer bears all shipping costs

  • Seller error or verified defect: Seller bears return shipping cost

  • Lost or damaged return parcels: Customer responsibility

All returns must be shipped using a trackable courier service.


10. Inspection & Refund Processing

  • Returned items are inspected upon receipt

  • Inspection period: 2–5 business days

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider.


11. Partial Refunds & Deductions

Partial refunds may apply if:

  • Packaging or accessories are missing

  • Security seal is removed

  • Promotional gifts are not returned

  • Minor signs of handling are present

The seller reserves the right to deduct repair, cleaning, or restocking costs.


12. Silver Product Disclaimer

Customers acknowledge that:

  • Silver may naturally oxidize over time

  • Tarnishing is not a defect

  • Minor weight variation within industry tolerance is acceptable

These characteristics are not valid reasons for return or refund.


13. Seller’s Right of Final Decision

YAN’S SELECTION, operated by JAMIE HANDCRAFT, reserves the right to:

  • Reject abusive or unreasonable claims

  • Decline repeated excessive returns

  • Amend this policy at any time without prior notice

All decisions after inspection are final.
